The CSR approach

Ethical production

To reduce waste, we manufacture our sofas exclusively to order. This allows us to use only the necessary resources, avoid overproduction, and guarantee unique and durable pieces. This choice aligns our manufacturing process with more reasonable and controlled consumption.

Suitable packaging

Our packaging is made from recyclable materials. By favoring recycled cardboard, kraft paper, and biodegradable plastics, we guarantee optimal protection for your furniture during delivery while complying with current environmental standards.

Optimized to reduce their quantity and environmental impact, each package is adapted to the product's shape to minimize unnecessary space and reduce waste. For example, our sofas and armchairs are often packaged in covers that perfectly fit their shape.

Additionally, when deemed appropriate, we offer products that require assembly to reduce packaging. The legs of some furniture require assembly yourself, reducing some of the space required; corner and panoramic sofas are generally divided into several packages to avoid using bulky packaging.

End of life of products

Our customers can benefit from the service of taking back their old furniture when their new products are delivered.

Compliant with the AGEC law and regulations on Waste Furniture Equipment (DEA) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), this service operates on the "1 for 1" principle. This means that the carrier collects an item equivalent in quantity and quality to the one they deliver (for example, a sofa for a sofa).

The recovered products are then taken to approved recycling facilities to give them a second life. Furniture, sofas, mattresses, and other equipment are either recycled or transformed into reusable materials.

This take-back service offers a responsible solution while encouraging the transition to new furniture. It supports a circular economy where each material can be reused and recycled, significantly reducing waste.

Sustainable deliveries

We strive for more environmentally friendly deliveries through our transport partners.

Certified "Ecovadis" and recently awarded the Objectif CO2 Label (a benchmark distinction for carriers committed to energy and ecological performance), VIR Transport is committed to actively reducing the environmental impact of its operations. To this end, the transport company aims to equip itself entirely with "green" vehicles, running on electric and biomethane models. By 2023, 40% of its vehicles will already be green.

DPD is also committed to an ambitious approach to reducing its carbon footprint. Since implementing its carbon neutrality policy in 2012, the company is now aiming for net-zero emissions by 2040, in line with the French National Low-Carbon Strategy (SNBC). DPD has already reduced its CO2 emissions per parcel by 10% by 2023. Today, 12% of the kilometers traveled by its heavy goods vehicles are driven by natural gas or biofuel, while 18% of parcels are delivered in low-emission vehicles.
